Hungry Crab Opens in Island Park

Southern fried seafood and boils come to New York.

Hungry Crab, a new seafood spot, recently opened in Island Park and is getting great reviews online. The chain of restaurants already has locations down south in Florida and Georgia and one in Missouri. Island Park is their first New York Location, according to their website.

 

Serving up your favorite seafood dishes the menu starts with baskets of fried shrimp, catfish, tilapia, red snapper, oysters or chicken tenders for you landlubbers. Soups include gumbo and New England clam chowder. Sit down to a southern-style seafood boil served with corn  and potato served Monday through Friday, noon until 3pm. Seafood combos include shrimp and snow crab, snow crab legs and crawfish, shrimp and crawfish, clams  and black mussels, or a menu that allows you to choose your own.

 

Come hungry for their special combos that includes the Seafood Trio served with two corn and two potatoes, 1/2 lb. shrimp, 1/2 lb. snow crab and 1 lobster tail, or the Hungry Crab Festival served with four corn and four potatoes, 1 lb. each or shrimp, snow crab, crawfish, clams, and black mussels.

 

On Google, Joanna liu gave Hungry Crab five stars.
