Lake Grove, NY - August 7th, 2014 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Fourth Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who used a counterfeit travelers cheque in Lake Grove.
On June 10, 2014, between 3:35 p.m. and 4 p.m. a man purchased items at The Children’s Place, located at 313 Smithhaven Mall using a counterfeit American Express Travelers Cheque in the amount of $100.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
