Manorville, NY - August 8th, 2013 - Seventh Squad detectives are investigating a single-car crash that killed a woman in Eastport this morning.
Heather Petrie was driving a 2005 Ford Mustang southbound on County Road 111 when her vehicle veered off the road into the median. The Ford overturned and landed on the northbound lanes, just north of the County Road 51 exit, at approximately 7:45 a.m.
Petrie, 40, of Eastport, was pronounced dead at the scene by a physician assistant from the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner.
