CANCELLED - Elderly Man Suffering from Dementia Reported Missing by Nassau County Authorities

UPDATE - August 8, 2017 - Police report that Melvin Taylor has been located.

Baldwin, NY - August 8, 2017 - The Missing Persons Squad is investigating a missing person that occurred on Monday August 7, 2017 at 2:00 A.M in Baldwin.
 
According to detectives, Melvin Taylor, 74, was last seen on Grand Terrace Avenue at his residence. Taylor is described as a male black, 5’5”, thin build 120 pounds, grey hair and a goatee. Missing Taylor suffers from dementia.
 
Detectives request anyone with information regarding the missing person to contact the Missing Persons Squad at 516-573-7347 or call 911. All callers will remain anonymous.
