Police Seeking Suspect in Gunpoint Robbery of Cedarhurst TD Bank

Cedarhurst, NY - August 8, 2017 - Major Case Bureau detectives from the Robbery Squad are investigating a bank robbery that occurred on Monday, August 7, 2017 at 8:12 am in Cedarhurst.
 
According to detectives, a male black subject entered TD Bank, 516 East Central Avenue, approached a teller and displayed a black handgun demanding money. 
 
After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the subject, who was described as being 20-30 years old, 5’7”- 5’10” tall with a thin build, wearing a blue hooded rain jacket, black pants with white & pink sneakers, fled the bank and was last seen entering a dark colored vehicle that headed northbound on Cedarhurst Avenue towards Willow Street. 
 
No injuries were reported.
