Two Men Busted in the Middle of Long Beach Cocaine Deal, According to Police

The Narcotics/Vice Bureau reports the arrest of two men for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance that occurred on Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at 6:08 p.m. in Long Beach.
 
According to Detectives, defendant Russell Sash, 57, of 45 Arizona Avenue in Long Beach, and defendant Arthur F. Corso, 61, of 76 Suffolk Road in Island Park, were involved in a drug transaction. Detectives arrested both defendants without incident and confiscated approximately 23 grams of a white powdery substance which appears to be cocaine.
 
Defendant Sash is charged with two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree. He was arraigned on Thursday, August 8, 2024 at First District Court, 99 Main Street in Hempstead.
 
Defendant Corso is charged with Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 2nd Degree, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree. He was arraigned on Thursday, August 8, 2024 at First District Court, 99 Main Street in Hempstead.
