Mastic, NY - August 9, 2016 - A 36 year old Mastic man convicted in May of sexually abusing a young girl in 2014 was sentenced today to 40 years in state prison, Suffolk County District Attorney Thomas Spota said.
On May 23 it took a Suffolk County jury approximately nine minutes to deliberate and convict Ali R. Tebout of two counts of criminal sexual act in the first degree for which he was sentenced today to 20 years on each count, DA Spota said.
Tebout was also found guilty of two counts of sexual abuse in the first degree for which he received seven year sentences that he will serve concurrently.
The victim of his crimes was less than 10 years old.
