Jewish Heritage Night in partnership with the Long Island Ducks, taking place on August 18, 2024, is a special event, held at Fairfield Properties Ballpark, bringing together the community for an evening of family fun and solidarity, featuring an array of exciting activities and heartfelt tributes.

The evening will kick off with a pre-game catch on the field, where the first 1,500 fans will receive a free commemorative baseball. Fans will also have the opportunity to experience the thrill of the game with a post-game run around the bases, adding to the excitement of the night.

In addition to the on-field action, the Kids Zone will feature inflatables, with an unlimited wristband available for just $5, ensuring endless fun for the young fans. For those looking to capture the moment, there will be a photo opportunity with the Ducks’ beloved mascot, QuackerJack. A live jersey auction will also take place, offering fans a chance to bid on exclusive Israeli/Ducks memorabilia and support a great cause.

Dagan Cohen, Sid Jacobson JCC Director of the Regional Council of Federation of Israel (RCFI), will be honored with the ceremonial first pitch, symbolizing the strong ties between the Long Island community and Israel.

Jewish Heritage Night is not just a celebration of culture but also a moment to stand in solidarity with Israel. As we enjoy the festivities, we remember those who are currently being held captive by Hamas, including eight American citizens. This event serves as a powerful reminder of our collective support for Israel and our hope for the safe return of all hostages. By attending, you’re not only enjoying a day of family fun, but also standing in solidarity with those who need our voice. Together, we can continue to bring this issue back into the minds of so many who have forgotten, advocate for their freedom, and demonstrate that our community’s spirit extends beyond the field.
