Two Men in NCPD Custody on a Plethora of Serious Charges, Including Widescale Drug Dealing and Illegal Firearm Sales

Narcotics/Vice Squad reports the arrest of two males for Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance that occurred between Monday, March 25, 2024 through Wednesday, August 7, 2024.
 
According to Detectives, an extensive investigation into narcotics sales and criminal activity throughout Nassau County was conducted. During the investigation the following individuals were arrested for various crimes that occurred within the aforementioned timeframe:
 
Miguel Pineda, 30, of 2 Beech Street in Hicksville, is charged with ten counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree, three counts of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree, five counts of a Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 2nd Degree, one count of a Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree, four counts of a Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd Degree, four counts of  Criminal Sale of a Firearm 3rd Degree, four counts of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree and Resisting Arrest.  He was arraigned on Thursday, August 8, 2024 at First District Court 99 Main Street, Hempstead. 
 
Juan Carlos Sanchez, 35, 1122 Saint James Avenue, Massachusetts.  He is charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree, two counts of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree. He was arraigned on Thursday, August 8, 2024 at First District Court 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
 
During the arrest processing, detectives found thirteen, clear mini Ziplock bags containing a white powdery substance believed to be cocaine on defendant Sanchez and fourteen clear mini Ziplock bags containing a white powdery substance believed to be cocaine on defendant Pineda.
