NCPD: Man Busted for Handgun Possession During Roosevelt Traffic Stop

First Squad Detectives report the arrest of a man for Criminal Possession of a Weapon that occurred on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at 2:15 a.m. in Roosevelt.
 
According to detectives, officers observed a 2017 Infiniti Q60 traveling Eastbound on Frederick Avenue that failed to obey a stop sign at the intersection of St. Francis Street. Officers activated their emergency lights and conducted a Vehicle and Traffic Law stop.
 
During the investigation a loaded handgun was recovered in the vehicle and defendant Jeremy Miller, 22, of 14 Bainbridge Street was placed under arrest without incident.
 
Defendant Miller is charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2 nd Degree, Criminal Possession of a Firearm and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4 th Degree. He was arraigned Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at First District Court, Hempstead.
