Bethpage Man Arrested After Sexually Abusing Woman on Street in Broad Daylight, Officials Say
The Nassau County Police Department has announced that an arrest has been made in connection with an incident that originally occurred on Sunday, June 23, 2024 at 5:32 PM in Seaford.
According to detectives, a 34-year-old-female victim was walking in the rear of 751 Seamans Neck Road, when she was approached by a male suspect who inappropriately touched her and fled on foot.
After a thorough investigation, Eighth Squad Detectives arrested Michael Hernandez, 20, of 4336 Hicksville Road, Bethpage. He is charged with Sexual Abuse 3rd Degree. He will be arraigned on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at First District Court, 99 Main Street Hempstead.
