The Eighth Squad reports the victim of a violent home invasion that originally occurred on Sunday, June 9, 2024 at 2:30 AM in Levittown has tragically passed away from her injuries.
According to Detectives, Officers responded to a residential home for a possible burglary. Upon arrival, it was determined that a female victim, 64, was asleep in her home when she was awoken by an unknown subject striking her in the face with an unknown object. The subject fled scene in an unknown direction. The victim was transported to a local area hospital for evaluation and treatment of her injuries. No further description of the subject is available.
The Homicide Squad reports that the above listed victim, identified as Linda Levy, was pronounced deceased by area hospital staff on Thursday, August 8, 2024, as a result of the injuries sustained during the above incident. The investigation is ongoing.
