The Second Squad reports the arrest of a 17-year-old male juvenile for Menacing that occurred on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at 12:50 a.m. in Hicksville.
 
According to Detectives, a female victim was approached by a 17-year-old juvenile defendant, at a residence, who brandished what appeared to be a firearm and threatened the victim. The 17-year-old juvenile defendant left the scene, but was apprehended by Police a short time later without incident. An imitation pistol-BB gun, was used in the commission of the crime and has been recovered. 
 
The 17-year-old juvenile defendant is charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th Degree, and Menacing 2nd Degree. He will be arraigned on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at the Youth Part of First District Court, 99 Main Street in Hempstead.
