East End Food, the nonprofit supporting farmers, producers and everyone who enjoys local food, is proud to introduce East End Food Passport, a free print and online guide inviting visitors to explore the tastes and talents of the region’s best growers, producers and industry leaders. The Passport features a directory of East End Food’s 160 farm, food and craft businesses and a calendar of weekly agri-tourism events for the 2023 season, where the community is invited to TASTE, CREATE, LEARN and PLAY.

Visitors are invited to explore the newly updated East End Food website when making travel plans, and can plan their foodie getaway with the digital version of the East End Food Passport. The passports share where travelers to the region can learn about local food and beverage businesses and area farms, browse upcoming events and plan their culinary exploration of the East End -- all from the convenience of their smartphone or computer. Explore the site at passport.eastendfood.org. The passport and website updates were supported in part by a Market New York grant from Empire State Development and I LOVE NY/New York State's Division of tourism, awarded through the Regional Economic Development Council initiative.

"East End Food Passport showcases the diversity of our region's food scene for travelers to the region, all while fostering a deeper appreciation for the hard work that goes into producing good, local food. The Passport will inspire foodies that strive to make conscious choices to support local farms and to visit Long Island and experience all this agri-tourism industry has to offer, while also having fun exploring other travel destinations in the area," says Kate Fullam, Executive Director of East End Food.

Visitors and locals exploring the East End this summer are also encouraged to “Check-In to Win'' with East End Food Passport by posting on Facebook or Instagram with a picture of the Passport or a location they are visiting, and tagging @eastendfood and #eastendfoodpassport. Each month, participants can win a prize.
