Good Government Group Calling for A.G. Investigation of Former Oyster Bay Politician Receiving Over $2M in Undisclosed Payments and Other Corruption
Oyster Bay, NY - August 15, 2016 - A Long Island good government group will join with local residents in a press conference calling for New York State Attorney General to hold an investigation into town-wide corruption after Oyster Bay planning and development commissioner Fred Ippolito received $2 million in undisclosed payments from the family of a town contractor.
They will be holding a rally and press conference
Documents show Ippolito negotiated a town contract while accepting money from the contractor's family trust and did not report it to the town board and the ethics board. There has been many incidents of corruption involving H. Singh and his vendor contracts costing tax payers millions and even potential layoffs of employees.
