County Executive Bruce Blakeman to Officially Reopen Nunley’s Carousel After Pandemic Closure

Nassau County Executive Bruce A. Blakeman to join Long Island Children’s Museum President Suzanne LeBlanc, Cradle of Aviation President Andrew Parton, and members of the National Carousel Association for a ribbon cutting ceremony as Nunley’s carousel officially re-opens to the public on Tuesday August 16.

 

The 110-year-old carousel has not been open since the start of the pandemic in 2020 and was previously operated by the Cradle of Aviation Museum. County Executive Blakeman will announce the new management of Nunley’s on Tuesday and also unveil the carousel’s new operational hours for its next generation of riders.
