This morning, Optimum donated $30,000 to the North Babylon School District to support local public-school teachers and students this upcoming school year.

Today, as part of an event that Optimum, News 12, and Warner Bros. Discovery hosted to distribute over 400 backpacks to North Babylon students, Optimum also presented the District with funding through the company’s partnership with national education nonprofit DonorsChoose, which will enable access to tools, technologies, and experiences to support student success.

Senator Monica Martinez, Assemblyman Michael Durso, and Babylon Town Clerk Gerry Compitello all attended the event alongside Optimum representatives and local teachers and students, which featured fun activities, music, refreshments, and more.
