21-Year-Old Man Stabs His Father in the Chest During a Dispute

Bellmore, NY - August 17, 2016 - The Seventh Squad reports an arrest for Attempted Murder on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at 6:20 a.m. in Bellmore.

According to detectives, during a domestic dispute at their home, Dimitri Louros, 21 years of age, stabbed his father, 55 years of age in the chest with a kitchen knife.  The victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment to his injuries where he is listed in critical but stable condition.  Louros was placed under arrest at the scene.

Louros is charged with Attempted Murder 2^nd degree, Assault 1^st degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4^th degree.  He will be arraigned on Thursday, August 18, 2017 at First District Court in Hempstead.
