Hempstead, NY - July 30, 2015 - Long Island gears up for Biggest, Health, Wellness and Back- to-School. The fair be held in conjunction with African-American Media Network, Long Shoprite Supermarket Island African-American Chamber of Commerce, and Hempstead/Uniondale Times will hold its first annual health and education fair on Saturday, September 12, 2015 from 10am to 5:00pm at 1121 Jerusalem Avenue (Shoprite Supermarket parking lot) in Uniondale, NY.
Dubbed “Health, Wellness & Back-To-School Fair,” the event will include free health screenings (blood pressure, diabetes monitoring), nutrition, dental, vision check, food sampling, showcase of local talents, book signing by authors, college/university admissions recruitment, US Army recruitment, raffles/prices, employment recruitment, and much more.
Organizers of the fair are calling on all businesses to get on board as a sponsor or vendor . Volunteers and donation school supplies are needed. The event promises to draw hundreds of families, a tremendous opportunity for reaching consumers, thereby driving sales, and then profits.
