Homicide Squad Detectives report the arrest of a Glenwood Landing man for Leaving the Scene of an Accident that occurred in Roslyn Harbor.
 
According to detectives, a 2014 Chevrolet Camaro was travelling eastbound on Scudders Lane in Glenwood Landing and struck two victims standing on Scudders Lane; the vehicle fled the scene. Both male victims, age 27, sustained head injuries and were transported to a local hospital for treatment.
 
An investigation led to the vehicle being located at a residence on Glenwood Road in Roslyn Harbor. Defendant Amir Dashti, 27, of Glenwood Landing, was arrested without further incident.
 
Defendant Amir Dashti is charged with two counts of Leaving the Scene of an Accident with Serious Personal Injury. He was arraigned at First District Court, 99 Main Street Hempstead.
 
A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
