Update - August 22, 2016 - The Missing Persons Squad  reports that the juvenile has been located.

Hempstead, NY - August 21, 2016 - The Missing Person Squad is investigating a Missing Juvenile that occurred on Saturday, August 20, 2016 between 10:30 pm an 11:00 pm in Hempstead.

According to detectives, Anaya Martin, 12, was last seen at her Hempstead home.  Anaya is described as female black, 4 feet tall, 95 pounds, brown eyes, short brown hair and braces.  She was last seen wearing a white short sleeve shirt, purple shorts, purple sneakers and a purple bandana.

Detectives request anyone with information regarding the above missing juvenile to contact the Missing Persons Squad at 516-573-7347 or dial 911.  All callers will remain anonymous.
