The Marine Bureau reports the details of a Water Rescue that occurred in Bayville.

 

According to police, Marine 8 received a call from Glen Cove Harbor Patrol in regards to a missing person on a jet ski in the vicinity of Bayville Beach. Marine 8 conducted a search and located a 45 year-old male adrift in the Long Island Sound Shipping lane on a disabled jet ski. 

 

The male was taken aboard Marine 8 and transported to the Oyster Bay boat ramp. No injuries were reported.
