Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and detectives from the Riverhead Police Department are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the person(s) who stole a forklift that was parked near a building in Riverhead.

Riverhead, NY - August 27th, 2014 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and detectives from the Riverhead Police Department are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the person(s) who stole a forklift that was parked near a building in Riverhead.

On Monday, August 11, 2014, between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m., one or more unknown people used a flatbed tow truck with a white cab to remove a gold and black Caterpillar brand forklift, Model number V30D, which was parked at Bejay Auto Parts/ Carquest, located at 1312 East Main Street in Riverhead.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
