Valley Stream, NY - August 27, 2018 - The Nassau County Police Department reports the arrest of a Philadelphia, Pennsylvania man for Driving While Intoxicated and Criminal Possession of a Weapon that occurred on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at 10:05 p.m. in Valley Stream.
 
According to police, officers participating in a sobriety checkpoint for “Saturation Saturday” observed the operator of a black 2013 Hyundai having glassy bloodshot eyes and a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on his breath. After conducting an investigation the defendant, Annoman Singh, 28, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania was placed under arrest. Upon further investigation, a loaded handgun was recovered from the defendant’s vehicle.
 
Defendant Annoman Singh is charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd Degree and two (2) counts of Driving While Intoxicated. He was arraigned on Sunday, August 26, 2018 at First District Court in Hempstead
