The Public Information Office reports the details of a Fire that occurred on Friday, August 30, 2024 at 3:48 am in Massapequa.
According to police, officers responded to a McKinley Place residence for a house fire. Upon arrival, officers observed the upper level of the home fully engulfed in flames. The Massapequa Fire Department responded to the scene and extinguished the fire. The Nassau County Fire Marshal and Arson Bomb Squad also responded.
The Red Cross was notified to offer assistance to the displaced residents.
No injuries were reported. The fire has been deemed not suspicious at this time.
The investigation is ongoing.
