NCPD: Seaford Man With Multiple Prior Arrests Busted for Auto-Stripping

The Eighth Squad reports the arrest of a Seaford man for a Larceny that occurred on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at 5:08 a.m. in Levittown.
 
According to Detectives, Police responded to 301 Newbridge Road for a Larceny in progress. Upon confronting the subject, Scott Raba, 51, of 2337 Hampton Avenue, he fled northbound on Newbridge Road into a wooded area. Police set up a perimeter and were able to locate defendant Raba. He was placed under arrest without further incident. 
 
Defendant Raba is charged with Auto Stripping in the 3rd Degree, Possession of Burglar Tools, Grand Larceny in the 4th Degree, and Criminal Mischief in the 2nd Degree. He will be arraigned on Wednesday August 31, 2022 at First District Court, 99 Main Street in Hempstead. 
 
Raba was previously arrested March 12, 2021 for Criminal Possession in the 7th Degree and was issued a Desk Appearance Ticket with No Bail. Defendant Raba was previously arrested on August 8, 2022 for a Larceny and was issued a Desk Appearance Ticket for which he was then release on his own recognizance.
