Judy Gold's, monologue, 25 Questions for a Jewish Mother, came about as she traveled across the country to interview Jewish mothers and how overprotective they are. Gold said, “we’ve been kicked out of every country from the beginning of time, so of course we always need to know where the children are”. She wrote and starred in 25 Questions for a Jewish Mother at St. Luke’s Theater/Ars Nova in New York City. That show won the 2007 GLAAD award for Outstanding New York Theater. The New York
Times called Gold “fiercely funny, honest and moving”. The two time Emmy Award-winning comedian and actress has been seen in many shows including The Judy Show – My Life as a Sitcom which she wrote and was nominated for the 2012 Outer Circle Award. Gold was the lead in Vagina Monologues at Westside Theater in New York City. She also wrote and produced The Rosie O’Donnell Show.
