Suffolk County Police Third Squad detectives are investigating a crash that seriously injured a motorcyclist in Bay Shore last night.

Bay Shore, NY - September 6, 2014 - Suffolk County Police Third Squad detectives are investigating a crash that seriously injured a motorcyclist in Bay Shore last night.

Winston Samuel Jr. was driving a 2007 Yamaha motorcycle eastbound on Spur Drive South, east of Abbey Lane, when he lost control, was ejected and ran off the roadway at approximately 1:55 a.m.

Samuel Jr., 27, of Central Islip, was transported to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore in serious condition.

Detectives are asking anyone with information on this crash to call the Third Squad at  631-854-8352.
