Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police First Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the person who used a fraudulent check to purchase a car in West Babylon last month. 
 
A man used a fraudulent check to purchase a 2008 Ford F350 utility truck from Fast Signs, located at 46 Kean St., on August 19. The vehicle had a value of $26,700.
