Nassau County Executive Bruce A. Blakeman has announced that the Splash Parks at Bay Park in East Rockaway, Grant Park in Hewlett, Eisenhower Park (East Meadow), Rev. Mackey Park (Roosevelt), and North Woodmere Park will be open to dogs and their owners from 10:00AM – 12:00PM on Saturday, September 7, 2024, before they close for the season.

“For most people, dogs are family members, and what better way to enjoy a Saturday than to bring your dog to the local spray park for some free fun in the sun?” said County Executive Blakeman.

It is imperative that owners clean up after their dogs; owners must remain on the premises with their dog; dogs must be up to date on their vaccinations; attendees must be Nassau County residents; and leashes can be no longer than 6 feet.  Residents may want to bring a towel for their dog.

“We want this to be a successful event, so we ask that everyone is mindful of closing gates and walking their dog to and from the Spray Park on leash,” said County Executive Blakeman.
