Want to step back in time? Try out these retro places to feel like you’re reliving your youth or take you to an era you always wanted to visit.

 

Looney Tunes Record Store - Looney Tunes was opened in 1971. A family owned and operated independent store. More than just a record store, in addition to vinyl records they carry compact discs, blu-rays and DVDs, posters, t-shirts, stickers, patches, turntables, speakers, and more.

 

Bobb Howard's General Store - Eileen and Ronnie, the owners of Bobb Howard’s General Store, are a couple of baby boomers who grew up on Long Island playing hopscotch and hide-and-seek, stickball and stoopball, flipping baseball cards and jacks, and playing hit the penny and spin the bottle. The General Store is attached to the family auto repair shop that Eileen’s parents opened 75 years ago. Find old games, toys and more. Where: 581 Lakeville Road, New Hyde Park.

 

Game On Arcade - An authentic arcade that feels like it's straight of the 80’s and 90’s. Over 100 games to play all set to free play. $20 for all day free play and $10 for kids 12 and under. Game On Store - They have a retail store as well. Buy, sell and trade retro video games, action figures, toys, and retro collectibles of all kinds. Where: 465 Route 25A, Miller Place; 270 W. Main Street, Smithtown; 12 South Ocean Avenue, Patchogue.

 

Retro Source - A radical trip back to the 80s and 90s. Games, collectables, toys and more. Where: 1075 Portion Road, Farmingville.

 

Paper Doll Vintage Boutique & Curiosity Shop - Vintage clothing and accessories, up-cycled accessories, and local art. Search by decade from 1900 to Y2K. Where: 23 Main Street, Sayville; 33 E Main Street, Patchogue.
