NCPD: Three Arrests Made as Part of “Quality of Life and Traffic Safety Enforcement” Operation

The Public Information Office reports the details of  multiple arrests made by the Fifth Precinct, Highway Patrol, and the Bureau of Special Operations within the confines of Nassau County on Wednesday, September 13, 2023.
 
Nassau County Police conducted a “Quality of Life and Traffic Safety Enforcement” operation targeting various locations in and around the Green Acres Mall. 
 
The following Kiosk was found to be in possession of Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) inside the Green Acres Mall:
 
Cloud 9 – 1015 Green Acres Mall, Valley Stream. A total of 106 Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) products were seized. Defendant Summer Rodriguez, 20, of 31 1st Avenue, East Rockaway was arrested without incident. She will be arraigned on Thursday, September 14, 2023 at First District Court 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
 
The following motorist was pulled over for a Lawful Vehicle Traffic stop:
 
Shantell Black-Davis, 27, of 5020 114th Place, South Ozone Park was in possession of a forged Georgia temporary registration. She is charged with Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument 2nd Degree and will be arraigned on Thursday, September 14, 2023 at First District Court 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
 
The following motorist was pulled over for a Lawful Vehicle Traffic stop:
 
Officers observed defendant Kamani Downer, 22, of 44 Forest Road in Valley Stream, riding a moped with no registration and violating traffic laws. After a further investigation, Officers discovered the VIN number was defaced. He is charged with multiple traffic violations, Illegal Possession of a VIN, and False Personation. He will be arraigned on Thursday, September 14, 2023 at First District Court, 99 Main Street in Hempstead. 
 
A total of 113 traffic violations were issued to various motorists. Officers impounded one (1) vehicle and three (3) mopeds, an additional six (6) other individuals were arrested for misdemeanor charges including: Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, and various other Traffic Infractions. Subsequently, they were issued Appearance Tickets.
