The Suffolk County Sheriff’s Office is hosting its Third Annual Executive Leadership Conference on Monday, September 18, and Tuesday, September 19 at the Sondra and David S. Mack Student Services Center at Hofstra University.

Over 200 upper-level members of staff from various law enforcement agencies, government, and public sector businesses will be in attendance. The conference will feature two days of presentations by experts in leadership including former Seattle Chief of Police Carmen Best, Hockey Hall of Famer Pat LaFontaine and former Commissioner of U.S. Customs and Border Protection Gil Kerlikowske.

Suffolk County Sheriff Errol D. Toulon, Jr. created the Executive Leadership Conference to help bridge the gap that exists in leadership training for law enforcement. The invitation-only conference is open to high-ranking law enforcement officials from Suffolk County, Nassau County, New York City and beyond.
