CAUGHT ON VIDEO: Police Seeking Masked Man Who Broke into Hewlett Restaurant, Pilfered Cash from Register
The Fourth Squad reports the details of a Burglary that occurred on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at 5:15 AM in Hewlett.
According to detectives, officers responded to a call of a Burglary that had occurred at Geffen Gourmet located at 407 Mill Road in Hewlett. An investigation revealed that a male suspect entered the business by prying the rear door. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of US currency from a cash register and removed a small safe containing additional US currency. He then exited through the rear door and fled in an unknown direction.
The suspect is described as a male Black, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, a black face covering, black pants, gray gloves, gray sneakers and a bookbag.
