Levittown Teen Arrested for Selling Marijuana

Levittown, NY - September 17th, 2014 - Narcotics/Vice Bureau detectives report the arrest of a Levittown male on September 16, 2014 at 9:42 pm in Levittown.

According to detectives, based on numerous complaints from neighbors, Narcotics/Vice Bureau detectives conducted an undercover operation regarding the sale of Marijuana.

On August 15, 2014 at 3:40 pm, while at Salem Lane and Shelter Lane, Joseph Roepke, 16, of Shelter Lane did possess and sell a quantity of Marijuana to another for $40.00.

On September 16, 2014, detectives responded to the defendants home where was placed under arrest without incident. During his arrest, Roepke was found to be in possession of a Diazepam pill.

The defendant is charged with Criminal Sale of Marijuana 4th Degree and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree. He was released on an appearance ticket and will respond to First District Court, Hempstead on 10/06/2014.
