SCPD are investigating a vehicle crash in Farmingville.

Farmingville, NY - Sept. 17, 2018 - Suffolk County Police Sixth Squad detectives are investigating a motor vehicle crash that critically injured a man in Farmingville on Sunday, September 16.
 
David Hoffman was driving a 2007 Mercedes 550 southbound on College Road near Lakeland Place when he lost control of the vehicle, overturned and crashed into a utility pole at approximately 6:30 p.m.
 
Hoffman, 54, of Islandia, was transported by Farmingville Rescue ambulance to Stony Brook University Hospital in critical condition.
 
The Mercedes was impounded for a safety check.
