(L to R): Amy Silva-Magalhaes, Samantha Fischgrund, Ellen Antonucci and Steven Krieger take part in golf tournament to benefit The Spark Foundation.

The Bristal Assisted Living Communities hosted a golf tournament at the Rock Hill Golf Club in Manorville to benefit The Spark Foundation, a not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization created to offer financial support to employees facing critical life challenges.

The Spark Foundation represents The Bristal's commitment to supporting their team and their families through difficult times by offering help in situations such as serious illnesses, sudden family deaths, tragic accidents, significant property damage, natural disasters, and unforeseen hardship.

While The Bristal has made a cornerstone donation of $25,000 to initiate the foundation's efforts Spark will be supported through donations from employee and industry fundraisers, with an option for staff to contribute via payroll deductions. Encouraging a culture of giving, residents and families are invited to donate instead of giving gratuities, while partners and vendors can engage in corporate sponsorships to bolster the Foundation's mission.
