The New York State Department of Transportation is advising motorists there will be overnight closures on the Meadowbrook State Parkway between the Loop Parkway (Exit M10) and Bay Parkway in the Town of Hempstead, Nassau County, to facilitate maintenance to the drawbridge over Sloop Channel.
- Southbound will be closed on Thursday, September 19, Friday, September 20, and Monday, September 23 between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m.
- Northbound will be closed on Tuesday, September 24, Wednesday, September 25, and Thursday, September 26 between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m.
All closures are weather dependent. The Wantagh State Parkway should be utilized as an alternate route.
