Shoreham, NY - September 19, 2013 - On Wednesday, September 11, 2013 Legislator Sarah Anker joined the Rocky Point Fire Department in honoring those who lost their lives in the tragic events of September 11^th. The memorial service was attended by elected officials and members of the Rocky Point and Shoreham communities.

“Our world changed on September 11, 2001,” said Legislator Sarah Anker.  “It’s important that we never forget the bravery of our firefighters, police officers, and those who lost their lives. I am humbled to take part in this event.”
