At Kissaki, Garry Kanfer and his culinary team believe in honoring and sharing traditional Japanese cuisine with the world. Kissaki is rooted in omakase sushi and Kaiseki tradition.  Each dish on the menu is made with mindfully sourced, seasonal and quality ingredients.  Designed to take guests on a culinary exploration of the senses. Kissaki welcomes diners to join in a unique experience at the restaurant's beautifully designed omakase counter and main dining room.  Kissaki has locations on Bowery and the Upper West Side of Manhattan in addition to Water Mill and Greenwich, CT with Manhasset being their newest debut.

Chef: Executive Chef Edgar Valerio draws from his unrelenting passion to cultivate a culinary experience where everyone feels at home. Kissaki was the next step in Chef Edgar's culinary evolution. He refined his overall vision and created his remarkable style of Omakase. This commitment to excellence is the reason why every Kissaki has the highest standard of service, knowledge and hospitality.

Menu: Diners can enjoy Kampachi Carpaccio, Shishito Peppers and Edamame in addition to Wagyu Crispy Rice, Chicken Karaage, Tuna Stuffed Avocado and Spicy King Crab. Maki includes a Shrimp Tempura Roll, Salmon Maki and Ebi Hamachi Futomaki. Entrees feature Wagyu Fried Rice, Uni Pasta, Spaghetti Izakaya Style and Truffle Rice Donabe. Diners can also enjoy Matcha Tiramisu for dessert.

Owner: Garry Kanfer is a serial entrepreneur, founder, and a father of three. Kanfer is the founder of Big Drop, a full-service digital agency, servicing Fortune 500 clients across the company's three locations. Known for building brands and designing world-class digital experiences, Big Drop was integral to the creation of the Kissaki brand. As a self-described “sushi addict”, launching a one-of-a-kind omakase experience was the natural next step for Kanfer.
