Homicide Squad Detectives are investigating a fatal auto accident involving a pedestrian that occurred in Uniondale.
 
According to Detectives, a male pedestrian, 58, was struck by an unknown vehicle travelling southbound on Uniondale Avenue. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
 
The identity of the victim is being withheld at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
