Report: Man Fatally Shot Outside North Amityville Apartment Complex

Suffolk County Police Homicide Squad detectives are investigating a shooting that killed a North Amityville man.
 
First Precinct officers responded to Andpress Plaza, an apartment complex in North Amityville, after a 911 caller reported a man shot. When officers arrived they found Jesiah Lowe outside in a common area of the apartment complex. Lowe had been shot once. Lowe, 33, was transported via North Amityville Rescue ambulance to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip where he was pronounced dead.
