Copiague, NY - Sept. 24, 2018 - Detectives with the Suffolk County SPCA charged a Copiague woman with animal cruelty on Wednesday, September 19th, 2018.
 
Charity Dixon, 43, was charged with neglecting Precious, her 9 year old Maltese Yorkie by failing to provide necessary veterinary care. 
 
The dog is at the Town of Babylon Animal Shelter. Dixon, is scheduled to appear in court on 11/28/2018
