Two Suffolk County police officers helped deliver a baby boy in Bohemia.
 
Fifth Precinct Police Officers John Pitka and Brittany Roche responded to a 911 call for a pregnant woman in unknown distress. Upon arriving at the scene, officers found Diana Delucia in active labor in her home, located on Ocean Avenue. Officers Pitka and Roche aided an EMT from Community Ambulance Company of Sayville to deliver a healthy baby boy shortly after arriving on scene.
 
The mother and baby were transported via ambulance to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore.
