Silver Alert: 76-Year-Old Man Missing Who Suffers from Dementia
Suffolk County Police have issued a Silver Alert for a missing man who suffers from Dementia.
Robert Kaufman, 76, was last seen at his residence, located at 37 Teaneck Drive in East Northport, at approximately 8 a.m. on September 26. He is driving a gray 2021 Lexus ES 350 with New York license plate GVX 9400 and is possibly in the Manhattan area.
Kaufman is white, 5 feet 8 inches tall and 150 pounds. He has gray hair and blue eyes.
Detectives are asking anyone with information on Kaufman's location to call 911 or Second Squad detectives at 631-854-8252.
Silver Alert is a program implemented in Suffolk County that allows local law enforcement to share information with media outlets about individuals with special needs who have been reported missing.
