NCPD: Man Busted for DWI after Crashing Car into New Hyde Park Nail Salon, Fleeing Scene on Foot

The Public Information Office reports the arrest of a South Floral Park man for a DWI that occurred on Friday, September 27, 2024 at 1:13 a.m. in New Hyde Park.
 
According to Police, Third Precinct Officers responded to “Touch of Class 2,” a nail salon located at 18 Jericho Turnpike, for reports of a car that collided into the building. Upon arrival, Officers observed an unoccupied 2024 Acura sedan which struck the nail salon causing extensive damage to the building. The building was unoccupied.
 
Officers located defendant Antonio Fleming, 28, walking away from the collision. After a thorough investigation, defendant Fleming was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated.
 
Defendant Fleming is charged with DWI, DWAI, and Resisting Arrest. He will be arraigned on Friday, September 27, 2024 at First District Court, 99 Main Street in Hempstead.
