Deer Park, NY - September 27, 2014 - Suffolk County Police Homicide Squad detectives are investigating a shooting death that occurred in Deer Park early this morning.
First Precinct police officers responded to the parking lot of 3 Saxwood St. at 3:36 a.m. for a 911 call regarding shots fired. Upon arrival, officers discovered an adult male with a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore where he was pronounced dead.
The victim’s identity is being withheld pending notification of kin.
