The Major Case Bureau reports the arrest of four men during a Narcotics Investigation that occurred on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at 12:40 pm in Bellmore.
According to Narcotics/Vice Squad Detectives, Officers executed a search warrant at Bellmore Cigars, Vapor, Lotto Store located at 2825 Merrick Road.
It was determined that Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) gummies were being sold at this location. During the search, large quantities of Tetrahydrocannabinol and US currency was recovered. Narcotics/Vice Squad Detectives placed the following defendants under arrest
without incident:
Dinesh Venkata, 47, of 8611 117 th Street, Richmond Hill, NY
Ujaval Darji, 27, of 1501 N. Umberland Way, Monmouth Junction, NJ
Aashutosh Kinra, 22, of 1890 Edward Lane, Merrick, NY
Krunal A. Patel, 26, of 3351 Brooklyn Ave, Wantagh, NY
Defendant Dinesh Venkata has been charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 5th Degree and Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 5th Degree.
Defendant Ujaval Darji has been charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 5th Degree.
Defendant Aashutosh Kinra has been charged with two (2) counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 5th Degree and Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 5th Degree.
Defendant Krunal A. Patel has been charged with two (2) counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 5th Degree and Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 5th Degree. All four defendants will be arraigned on Thursday, September 29, 2022 at First District Court 99 Main Street Hempstead.
