Officials: Great Neck Man Busted in Connection with Multiple Nassau County Burglaries

NCPD reports the arrest of David Mintz of Great Neck, 36, for multiple burglaries.

Nassau County, NY - October 4, 2018 - Major Case Bureau detectives from the Burglary Pattern Team report the arrest of a Great Neck man for multiple burglaries that occurred during the month of September, 2018.
 
According to detectives, David Mintz, 36, after a subsequent investigation by detectives, was identified as the individual responsible for the following burglaries:
 
  • September 3rd, 2018, 5:11 am. – Studio Hair Styling, 15 Bayview Avenue, Manhasset. Mintz entered through a rear window. No proceeds were taken.
  • September 3rd, 2018, 11:30 pm. - Forbici Hair Salon, 397 Plandome Road, Manhasset. Mintz entered through a bathroom window and removed an undisclosed amount of cash as well as a Chase Visa credit card from the stores register.
  • September 20th, 2018, 1:04 am. – Joy Acupuncture, 59 Mineola Avenue, Roslyn Heights. Mintz entered through a rear door. No proceeds were taken.
On October 3rd, 2018 at 2:40 pm., Mintz was located in the parking lot of 250 Fulton Avenue, Hempstead by detectives and was placed under arrest.
 
Mintz is charged with three (3) counts of Burglary 3rd Degree and will be arraigned in First District Court, Hempstead on 10/04/2018.
