LIGHT ACCUMULATING SNOW TUESDAY MORNING A fast moving system will bring a band of light snow to the area Tuesday morning. A coating to less than 1 inch of snow accumulation is forecast. Roads will become snow covered due to the recent cold weather resulting in slippery travel conditions. Anyone planning to travel Tuesday morning should use extra caution. The accumulating snow will quickly come to an end late morning through midday with temperatures rising into the middle and upper 30s in the afternoon.

The Sixth Squad reports the arrest of a Queens woman for a Petit Larceny that occurred on Sunday, September 3, 2023 at 4:34 p.m. in Manhasset.
 
According to Detectives, a female victim, 54, reported to Police that a package had been stolen from outside of her residence located on Highland Terrace. 
 
During the investigation, defendant Juliana Saggaram, 33, of 2728 Humphrey Street, East Elmhurst was found responsible for the above incident. While working for Door Dash, defendant Saggaram did pick up a food order from a Chipotle, drove the local area and canvassed for outside packages. 
 
While holding the food order as a cover, the defendant walked onto the property, removed the package and fled the scene.
 
 
She was arrested on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at the Sixth Precinct, 100 Community Drive, Manhasset.
 
Defendant Juliana Saggaram was also found to be responsible for an additional petit larceny that occurred on Sunday, September 3, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. in Sands Point. 
 
Defendant Saggaram is charged with two (2) counts of Petit Larceny. She was issued a Nassau County Appearance Ticket and is due back in First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead on Friday, October 20, 2023.
